Although MTN is the best and most extensive network with over 50 million subscribers, it has been trying over the past few years to maintain its server speed.
However, at times it just gets overcrowded, and at some point you get confused and might even rain curses on them.
Feel free to switch to any of the laid-down APNs whenever your network starts to slow down.
Best MTN APN for Fast and Stable Browsing
All you have to do is create the 3 APNs listed below on your phone. Below are the APN Settings:
First APN
- Name: Lukastech 1
- APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
- APN Type: Default
- Proxy: Leave Blank
- Port: Leave Blank
- Username: Web or leave blank (Make a choice)
- Password: Web or leave blank (Make a choice)
- Leave the rest as default
Second APN
- Name: Lukastech 2
- APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
- APN Type: Default,supl
- Proxy: 10.199.122.2
- Port: 8080
- Username: Web
- Password: Web
- Leave the rest as default.
Third APN
- Name: Lukastech 3
- APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
- APN Type: Default
- Proxy: 127.0.0.1
- Port: 8080
- Username: Web or leave blank (Make a choice)
- Password: Web or leave blank (Make a choice)
- Leave the rest as default.
The main idea is to swap between these 3 APNs whenever you notice a slow connection on your MTN sim.

Tip: To get to the APN List on your phone; Navigate to Settings > More > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > then you can make any changes you desire.
I recommend the 1st APN, which is the default APN. Although the rest work well, it depends on your area; that’s why you need to try all three (3) to know which works best for you.
